The organization promotes, sponsors and conducts several special events in Yuma, Arizona during the year. All of the events highlight Yuma and the desert southwest. Proceeds from these events generated $40,500 in scholarships to Arizona colleges and universities and $115,646 in donations to youth organizations and charities in the Yuma area. The largest event is "Midnight at the Oasis" - the southwest's premier classic car and nostalgia festival. This is a 3-day event in March attracting over 900 entrants and approximately 50,000 attendees. The organization paid out $77,005 from this event to other exempt organizations whose volunteer members assisted with the festival.
The second largest event is the Colorado River Balloon Festival which is a 3-day event in November which attracts numerous balloonists and thousands of members of the public to watch the balloon launches and attend the evening "Balloon Glow" event. The balloonists visit area schools to educate students about balloon piloting and to entertain them when the balloons land on school grounds.
The third largest event sponsored is a marathon and half-marathon race taking advantage of the moderate winter temperatures of the area to attract runners from a variety of states.
