OUR PROGRAMS PROVIDE THE COMMUNITY A WALK-IN CLINIC FOR IMPROVED ACCESS TO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES. LIFEBRIDGE PROVIDES BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES IN TWO LOCATIONS, BRIDGEPORT CT AND FAIRFIELD CT. BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES INCLUDE MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE ALONG WITH SPECIALIZED CARE FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS, AND CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES.
ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT: LIFEBRIDGE WORKS WITH OTHER AGENCIES TO SECURE AND MAINTAIN HOUSING, IMPROVE EMPLOYMENT SKILLS TO PREPARE INDIVIDUALS FOR BETTER JOBS, AND MEET SOME BASIC NEEDS. DURING THE 2019-20 FISCAL YEAR, LIFEBRIDGE COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSISTED HUNDREDS OF INDIVIDUALS WITH ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT THROUGH OUR WORKSKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM, COORDINATED ASSISTANCE WITH THE TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE FOR NEEDY FAMILY PROGRAM, PROVIDED CLOTHING VIA OUR COMMUNITY CLOSET AND DISTRIBUTED THOUSANDS OF DISPOSABLE DIAPERS TO HUNDREDS OF FAMILIES VIA OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE DIAPER BANK.
SOCIAL ENTERPRISES: LIFEBRIDGE OPERATES SOCIAL ENTERPRISE PROGRAM THAT HELP CLIENTS RETAIN THEIR INDEPENDENCE AND IMPROVE THEIR NUTRITION. DEAF INTERPRETING SERVICES PROVIDES SERVICES TO THOUSANDS OF INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE HEARING IMPAIRED AND OUR FOOD SERVICE ENTERPRISE MEALS ON WHEELS PROGRAM DELIVERS THOUSANDS OF NUTRITIONAL MEALS TO HOMEBOUND SENIOR CITIZENS AND INDIVIDUALS WITH A DISABILITY. IN ADDITION, OUR FOOD SERVICES ENTERPRISE PROVIDES MEALS TO SENIOR CITIZENS IN CONGREGATE SETTINGS TO PROVIDE THEM WITH A NUTRITIONAL MEAL IN A SOCIALLY ENGAGING ENVIRONMENT.
