Organizations Filed Purposes:
To teach and preserve the skills of contemporary and traditional craftsmanship and to promote creativity and personal growth. The Brookfield Craft Center will promote the advancement of traditional and contemporary crafts, regionally and nationally through education programs in our studios, provide income opportunities for artists through sales in our gallery shop and creative opportunities through exhibitions, lectures and studio time. The Craft Center's scenic and historic campus will serve as a creative resource and inspiration for established and aspiring artists.
Education arts and crafts in a non-profit environment. Classes are provided in various crafts in our 8 studios, glass, woodturning, fiber arts, jewelry, metel work, pottery, painting and drawing, digital photography, other digital skills and blacksmithing.
Our retail gallery provides a venu for artists to sell their work, with revenues going to the artist and to subsidize the craft center operations.
