TO SERVE AS THE PREMIER ACCREDITATION AUTHORITY FOR HEALTHCARE DATA EXCHANGE. THIS PROCESS WILL EVALUATE SECURITY, PRIVACY AND ACCURACY OF ELECTRONIC HEALTHCARE TRANSACTIONS, ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH VOLUNTARY ACCREDITATION REVIEWS OF PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS.

Electronic healthcare network accredited electronic healthcare transactions, accomplished through voluntary accreditation reviews of participating organizations. The commission is a voluntary accrediting agency for the electronic data exchange. There were 20 new accreditation reviews and 62 reaccreditation reviews performed in 2019. These reviews are designed to determine that process and procedures exist to provide security and accuracy of electronically transmitted data within the health care data exchange industry.
