In 2019 we published 31 research articles and reports on HIV, family planning and maternal and child health. In addition, our work is disseminated to the health community through annual reports produced by our partners. The Family Planning 2020 Initiative (FP2020) publishes our work on estimates and projections of key family planning indicators for 69 countries in the FP2020 Annual Report (November 2019).
Promote and facilitate evidence-based decision-making in designing maternal, neonatal, and child mortality interventions and programs in low-and middle-income countries by developing an easy-to-use tool for country programs to estimate impact of scaling up interventions on maternal, neonatal, and child survival. Also developing costs and budgeting requirements for this scale up, train counterparts and implement the tool in countries both at the national and district level.
Use analytic models to inform the resource needs and potential impact of HIV prevention interventions and answer critical operational easer ch questions to improve delivery of prevention interventions.The United Nations Joint Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) publishes our work on estimates of key HIV indicators for 150 countries in its Global AIDS Update (July 2020). In addition we produce desktop and web-based software for estimates and projections in many health fields. The software is freely available for download from our web site and we provide training and technical assistance. Our software is used by health planners in over 150 countries.
