Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission of Team Tobati is to increase the opportunities offered to poor youth of Tobati, Paraguay and to offer young American students the fantastic experience of working for a greater good in the developing world. Team Tobati undertakes a large service trip to Tobati every March and supports educational and medical programs in Tobati throughout the year.
Team Tobati supports the Reinaldo Macchi School, an independent school in Tobati, Paraguay which provides free education to poor students from Tobati. With Team Tobati's help, the school provides a great education, three meals a day, as well as medical treatment for their students at no cost.
Working with the students and teachers of the Macchi School, Team Tobati undertakes a large community service trip to Tobati, Paraguay each March. The team takes between 75 and 115 U.S. high school students to Paraguay to work on dozens of community service projects. The team builds classrooms, school bathrooms, medical outposts, parks, soccer fields, and other projects to help this impoverished community.
