FOUNDED IN 1970, THE SOUTH NORWALK COMMUNITY CENTER'S MISSION AND COMMITMENT IS TO IMPROVE UPON THE ECONOMIC, SOCIAL, AND PHYSICAL WELL BEING OF LOW INCOME FAMILIES IN SOUTH NORWALK AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. THE CENTER PROVIDES VITAL AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NORWALK PUBLIC SCHOOLS, AS WELL AS WEEKEND AND SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS. THE CENTER PROVIDES SOCIAL AND CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES, SUCH AS IMMIGRATION, NATURALIZATION, ESL, FINANCIAL AND OTHER PRO BONO SERVICES.

SOUTH NORWALK COMMUNITY CENTER CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM. BOTH THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND A PART TIME CASE WORKER PROVIDE IMMIGRATION, NATURALIZATION, ESL, FIANCIAL AND OTHER PRO BONO SERVICES TO THE NEED BASED COMMUNITY IN THE SOUTH NORWALK COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDINGS.
