To provide all actions necessary and desirable to protect life and property from the loss or damage by fire or any other emergency, which may arise; to provide emergency medical transportation and treatment to citizens of, residents of, and visitors to the Town of Salem, Connecticut; to promote public awareness of issues concerning safety; to promote public awareness and education concerning first aid procedures; to raise and distribute funds necessary for the carrying out of said purpose.
Our purpose is to provide emergency medical and fire protection to the citizens of Salem and surrounding towns. Last year we answered over 550 calls for our services.
