Mission of Mercy (MOM) in-kind contributed dental and medical services, valued based on procedures performed. The thirteenth MOM was held in Willimantic / Windham on April 12-13, 2019, with full cooperation from the Connecticut State Dental Association and its members. 593 volunteers provided approximately $563,000 of free oral health services to 626 individuals, substantially all Connecticut residents. Volunteers included 130 dentists, 264 other dental professionals and students, plus about 200 community volunteers. Total volunteer services are estimated at 4,767 hours.These services meet the criteria for reporting under generally accepted accounting principles. The value of in-kind services, however, is not reported in Form 990, Parts VIII Revenue or IX Expenses. The value is reversed below in Line 4d.
Mission of Mercy program expenses paid - $232,621.The twelfth Mission of Mercy (MOM) was held on April 12-13, 2019, in Windham / Willimantic, Conn.A total of 626 patients received the benefits of 3,402 procedures from 593 volunteers. Nearly all patients received oral exams, oral hygiene instructions, X-rays, and oral cancer screenings. Many received cleanings, fillings and extractions, as well as other procedures.
