Reaching Beyond the Classroom in 2017 wrote several inter-district grants for non-profits, both school districts and organizations. In 2018, five of our partners, non-profits, were awarded these grants. We coordinated all of them, but were also the fiscal agent for 4 of the 5 grants. We reported to the State Department of Education at the end of June 2018 that all monies had been spent/disbursed and all the goals of the programs had been met. We were not paid for writing these but salaries did come from the grants. In January of 2018 we again wrote several grants and our non-profits were awarded two of these grants of which we are the fiscal agent for one. These grant programs will run until June of 2019 and there are still monies in the account that will be disbursed by the end of June.
