Copper Beech Institute is a global community of practice offering evidence-based mindfulness and resilience practices to inspire purposeful living, awaken our full potential for compassionate action, and encourage a healing shift in how we relate to one another and our interconnected world. Since our founding in 2014, Copper Beech Institute has been committed to sharing research-based, life-saving mindfulness skills with nearly 30,000 people from 30 countries around the world. We have three main branches of our work: outreach to courageous and vulnerable communities, in-person and online retreats and classes, and our Transformative Leadership Program. We are honored to have done outreach work with almost 14,000 individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction recovery, domestic violence, incarceration, and mental health challenges. We have connected with over 200 organizations and businesses, bringing mindfulness skills into professional settings. Yearly, we offer a veterans retreat to support those brave souls who are active and retired military members. Copper Beech has also been a first responder in the mental health crisis created by COVID-19. In the midst of the pandemic, we have created a global online community of practice for over 11,000 people this year, serving as a source of strength, compassion, and resilience for our aching world. With generosity and service at the heart of our practice, we are committed to eliminating barriers to mindfulness and continuously meeting our community's evolving needs.
