(KEY) IS A NON-PROFIT, CONNECTICUT CORPORATION, ESTABLISHED IN CONNECTICUT IN 1989, THAT PROVIDES A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY BASED SUPPORT PROGRAMS INTENDED TO HELP PEOPLELIVE AS INDEPENDENTLY AS POSSIBLE IN THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITIES.KEY HUMAN SERVICES, INC. PROVIDES SERVICES IN THE CENTRAL PART OF THE STATE EXTENDING FROM THE MASSACHUSETTS BORDER TO THE LONG ISLAND SOUND. KEY HUMAN SERVICES, INC. IS SUPPORTED PRIMARILY THROUGH CONTRACTS FROM GOVERNMENTAL SOURCES AND OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.
COMMUNITY LIVING ARRANGEMENTS: COMMUNITY GROUP HOMES THAT SUPPORT ADULTS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES TO LIVE AND PARTICIPATE IN THEIR COMMUNITY. INDIVIDUALS RECEIVE SUPPORT TO REALIZE THEIR PERSONAL POTENTIAL AND PURSUE INDEPENDENT, PRODUCTIVE AND MEANINGFUL LIVES.
INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY SUPPORT: THIS SERVICE AREA PROVIDES RESIDENTIAL, CLINICAL, AND VOCATIONAL SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES, DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, AND AUTISM. SUPPORT IS PROVIDED TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES ACROSS THE LIFESPAN. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED IN INDIVIDUAL APARTMENTS, LICENSED COMMUNITY COMPANION HOMES, AND FAMILY HOMES. INDIVIDUALS ARE SUPPORTED TO ACHIEVE THEIR INDEPENDENCE, MAKE APPROPRIATE PERSONAL CHOICES, ACHIEVE GOALS RELATED TO WORK, COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION, AND RETIREMENT ACTIVITIES.
BIRTH TO THREE: THIS EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAM PROVIDES DIRECT SERVICES AND SUPPORT TO CHILDREN WHO HAVE A SIGNIFICANT DELAY AND THEIR FAMILIES. THIS SERVICE IS PROVIDED IN THE CHILD'S HOME OR COMMUNITY BY DEVELOPMENTAL THERAPISTS, SPEECH, OCCUPATIONAL AND PHYSICAL THERAPISTS. BIRTH TO THREE HELPS CHILDREN TO DEVELOP AT A RATE SIMILAR TO THEIR PEERS.
