AAD ALSO RUNS TWO PODCAST SERIES, IMPLEMENTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UNA CHAPMAN COX FOUNDATION, WHICH OFFER LISTENERS AN INSIDE LOOK AS TO WHAT DIPLOMACY IS AND WHAT TAKES PLACE ON THE GROUND, STRAIGHT FROM THE DIPLOMATS AS WELL AS THEIR MILITARY AND OTHER COLLEAGUES OVERSEAS THAT MAKE IT HAPPEN. FINALLY, AAD MAINTAINS A COLLECTION OF DIPLOMATIC TEACHING RESOURCES, WHICH ARE AVAILABLE ON AAD'S WEBSITE.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION - AAD PRESENTS ANNUALLY THE WALTER & LENORE ANNENBERG AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN DIPLOMACY, THE ARTHUR ROSS MEDIA AWARDS FOR DISTINGUISHED REPORTING AND ANALYSIS OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, AND THE DOUGLAS DILLON BOOK AWARD FOR A BOOK OF DISTINCTION ON THE PRACTICE OF AMERICAN DIPLOMACY TO INDIVIDUALS IN RECOGNITION OF THEIR SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE FIELD OF DIPLOMACY.

PUBLICATIONS - AAD'S MOST RECENT PUBLICATION IS "STRENGTHENING THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE". PUBLISHED IN MAY OF 2019, IT OFFERS THE DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATIONS FOR HOW TO ENHANCE ITS STRUCTURES AND PROCESSES TO BETTER IDENTIFY, RECRUIT, TRAIN, SUPPORT, EQUIP, AND PROTECT ITS PEOPLE IN THE FOREIGN AND CIVIL SERVICE.
