Organizations Filed Purposes: WITH MEMBERSHIP REPRESENTING EVERY CORNER OF THE GAMING INDUSTRY, AGA ARTICULATES THE VALUE OF THE MODERN CASINO GAMING INDUSTRY AND PROMOTES ITS INTERESTS AT THE FEDERAL AND STATE LEVEL. OUR MISSION IS TO ACHIEVE SOUND POLICIES AND SMART REGULATIONS THAT PROMOTE INNOVATION AND ARE CONSISTENT WITH GAMING'S MODERN APPEAL AND VAST ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTIONS. AGA LEADS A RIGOROUS AND INCLUSIVE PROCESS TO DEFINE OUR INDUSTRY'S POSITIONS ON ALL SIGNIFICANT ISSUES, AND WE SUPPORT POLICIES THAT PROMOTE INDUSTRY REINVESTMENT AND INNOVATION.

TO PROMOTE THE COMMON INTERESTS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GAMING ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY.

THE ASSOCIATION ADVOCATES ON BEHALF OF THE $261 BILLION U.S. CASINO INDUSTRY, WHICH SUPPORTS 1.8 MILLION JOBS IN 41 STATES. MEMBERS INCLUDE COMMERCIAL AND TRIBAL CASINO OPERATORS, SUPPLIERS AND OTHER ENTITIES AFFILIATED WITH THE GAMING INDUSTRY. THE AGA SERVES AS AN AUTHORITY ON CASINO GAMING RESEARCH, PROVIDING INFORMATION TO ITS MEMBERS, THE MEDIA, ELECTED OFFICIALS, OTHER DECISION-MAKERS, AND THE PUBLIC. IN 2018, THE AGA WORKED TO SHAPE A FAVORABLE FEDERAL POLICY ENVIRONMENT FOR REGULATED GAMING, PURSUED AND PROTECTED CORE INDUSTRY INTERESTS, PROMOTED THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC VALUE OF GAMING AND CREATED MORE FAVORABLE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENTS IN GAMING STATES. FURTHER, AGA CONTINUED TO PROTECT INDUSTRY INTERESTS WITH REGARD TO ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING AND BANK SECRECY ACT COMPLIANCE, BY WORKING WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY'S FINANCIAL CRIMES ENFORCEMENT NETWORK AND HOLDING EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS WITH MEMBERS OF CONGRESS. THROUGH ITS GLOBAL GAMING EXPO FAMILY OF EVENTS, THE AGA CREATED FORUMS, BOTH IN THE U.S. AND ASIA, FOR CASINO GAMING PROFESSIONALS WORLDWIDE TO CONDUCT BUSINESS, LEARN, AND NETWORK, THEREBY FURTHERING THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
