TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR PEOPLE EMPLOYED IN TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT.3. RECOGNITION PROGRAMS THAT EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND INDUSTRY ON PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE SAFETY, ENVIROMENTAL STEWARDSHIP AND COMMUNITY GOOD WORKS.4. SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS.5. DEVELOPMENT OF MUSEUMS AND EXHIBITS.

WORKZONE SAFETY GRANTS/ CONTRACTS- TDF SUPPORTS A VARIETY OF INITIATIVES INCLUDING SAFETY TRAINING, A NATIONAL EXHIBITION ON TRANSPORTATION AND A FACILITY DEDICATED TO IMPROVING SAFETY IN ROADWAY CONSTRUCTION ZONES.

MEETINGS- TDF RUNS THE TRANSPORTATION BUILDER INSTITUTE WHICH IS THE FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND INDUSTRY INSTITUTE. IT INCLUDES PROJECT MANAGEMENT ACADEMIES AND TRAINING PROGRAMS DESIGNED EXCLUSIVELY TO MEET THE PROFESSIOANL DEVELOPMENT NEEDS OF TRANSPORTATION CONSTRUCTION PROFESSIONALS.

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES - INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:SAFETY CERTIFICATION FOR TRANSPORTATION PROJECT PROFESSIONALS (SCTPP)PROGRAM -LAUNCHED IN LATE 2016, HAS BEEN ACCREDITED BY THE AMERICAN NATIONAL STANDARDS INSTITUTE (ANSI) UNDER THE ISO/IEC 17024:2012 INTERNATIONAL STANDARD. ANSI ACCREDITATION SIGNIFIES THE CERTIFICATE HOLDER HAS COMPLETED A PRESCRIBED COURSE OF STUDY DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY TO MEET PRE-DEFINED INDUSTRY REQUIREMENTS AND THAT THE PROGRAM'S SPONSOR HAS MET, AND CONTINUES TO MEET, INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS FOR QUALITY IMPROVEMENT. IT DISTINGUISHES INDUSTRY- OR GOVERNMENT-DEVELOPED PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALING PROGRAMS FROM "SELF-CERTIFIED" CERTIFICATE COURSES OFFERED BY ORGANIZATIONS AND PRIVATE VENDORS.SCHOLARSHIP FUND- ESTABLISHED IN 1999, THE LANFORD FAMILY HIGHWAY WORKER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM PROVIDES POST- HIGH SCHOOL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO HELP THE SONS, DAUGHTERS OR LEGALLY ADOPTED CHILDREN OF HIGHWAY WORKERS KILLED OR PERMANENTLY DISABLED ON THE JOB.
