IN 2019 CODE HELD A SERIES OF THREE ROUNDTABLES WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES ON HEALTH DATA SHARING, AND BEGAN WORK ON A ROUNDTABLE WITH OCEAN CONSERVANCY TO BE HELD IN 2020. CODE ALSO HELD A WORKSHOP WITH THE NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION ON THE FEDERAL DATA STRATEGY, AND HELD A WORKSHOP WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, THROUGH A CONTRACT MANAGED BY BOOZ ALLEN HAMILTON, ON DATA SHARING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AUTOMATED VEHICLES.
RESOURCES: CODE DEVELOPS PRINT AND ONLINE RESOURCES FOR THE COMMUNITY OF DATA USERS BOTH IN THE U.S. AND INTERNATIONALLY. IN 2019 CODE CONCLUDED THE NATIONAL REPORTING INITIATIVE, A FOUNDATION-FUNDED PROJECT TO HELP COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD REPORT ON THEIR PROGRESS AGAINST THE U.N. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS, AND CONSULTED WITH THE WORLD BANK ON OPEN DATA FOR THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND DEVELOPING AN OPEN SOURCE NATIONAL REPORTING PLATFORM IN KAZAKHSTAN.
RESEARCH:IN 2019, CODE DEVELOPED A RESEARCH PAPER FOR THE T3 INNOVATION NETWORK, UNDER THE U.S. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOUNDATION, ON DEVELOPMENT OF STANDARDS FOR WORKPLACE DATA. CODE DID RESEARCH FOR THE POPULATION HEALTH MANAGEMENT COMPANY ZEOMEGA TO HELP IMPROVE RISK ASSESSMENT AND CLINICAL INTERVENTION. CODE ALSO PUBLISHED A RESEARCH PAPER ON AGILE DEVELOPMENT WITH THE IBM CENTER FOR THE BUSINESS OF GOVERNMENT AND BEGAN WORK ON A RESEARCH PAPER WITH OCEAN CONSERVANCY.
