CHINESE AMERICAN MUSEUM FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO THE COLLECTION, PRESERVATION, RESEARCH, AND EXHIBITION OF CHINESE AMERICAN HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL MATERIALS REFLECTING THE BREADTH AND DEPTH OF THE EXPERIENCES OF CHINESE AMERICANS IN THE UNITED STATES.

THE MUSEUM WILL SERVE TO POSITIVELY IMPACT PEOPLE FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS, ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND ABROAD THROUGH CURATED EXHIBITS, ONLINE EXPERIENCES, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND EVENTS. DURING 2019, THE MUSEUM FEATURED TEMPORARY SPECIAL EXHIBITS AND EVENTS. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION CO-HOSTED THE CHINESE AMERICAN WOMEN IN HISTORY CONFERENCE IN OCTOBER, 2019. THE CONFERENCE INCLUDED SCHOLARLY PANELS, COMMUNITY STORYTELLING, AND FILM SCREENINGS THAT FEATURE THE PIONEERING WORK OF CHINESE AMERICAN WOMEN FILMMAKERS.
