IN 2019, 326 ATTENDEES PARTICIPATED IN CDME COURSE OFFERINGS AND 23 INDIVIDUALS COMPLETED THE REQUIRED COURSE WORK AND ACHIEVED THEIR CDME DESIGNATION.IN 2019, SEVEN SUMMITS WERE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE DESTINATION MEMBERS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN MORE ABOUT SPECIFIC TRENDS AND ISSUES THROUGH PEER-TO-PEER NETWORKING AND LEARNING. THE SUMMITS WERE ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 1,116 DESTINATION PROFESSIONALS. SUBJECTS COVERED INCLUDED CEO, CMO, VISITOR SERVICES, FINANCE/OPERATIONS/TECHNOLOGY, MEMBERSHIP, ADVOCACY, AND CONVENTION SALES & SERVICES.DURING 2019, THE ORGANIZATION HELD TWO TRADE SHOWS, ONE OF THESE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ANNUAL CONVENTION. THERE WERE NEARLY 100 EXHIBITORS AND MORE THAN 1,538 ATTENDEES FROM 16 COUNTRIES AT THE 2019 ANNUAL CONVENTION. ATTENDEES ENGAGED IN GENERAL SESSIONS AND OVER 50 DISCIPLINE-FOCUSED CONCURRENT SESSIONS AND NETWORKING EVENTS. THE SECOND TRADE SHOW, DESTINATION SHOWCASE, HOSTED OVER 922 ATTENDEES.
