In 2019, TDBI pursuant to its mission, continued to educate and grow our network and coalition through consistent email outreach, 19 episodes of our popular Schenck Talks Bonhoeffer podcast, increased social media reach, expanded Fellows and Senior Fellows program, development of a coalition of concerned clergy regarding Gun Violence prevention, promoted 4 live film screenings and discussions, participated in 2 major conferences and 4 influential advocacy events. Leadership appeared in 43 media interviews and TDBI was involved in the production and placement of 16 op-eds. We continued to educate faith leaders and the general public through curriculum and resources widely distributed to churches and individuals. TDBI also promoted coalition author books and films, panel discussions, and developed awareness on the local, state, regional, and national stage.
