ADVOCATED FOR HISTORIC LANDMARK DESIGNATION OF THE BARRY FARM PUBLIC HOUSING COMMUNITY AND DOCUMENTED 10 ORAL HISTORIES WITH DISPLACED BARRY FARM RESIDENTS. ORGANIZED BARRY FARM RESIDENTS TO CREATE A RESIDENT-LED PLAN FOR THE COMMUNITY'S REDEVELOPMENT. SECURED $25 MILLION FOR THE REPAIR AND IMPROVEMENT OF PUBLIC HOUSING IN THE FY 2020 DC BUDGET. CONDUCTED GRASSROOTS OUTREACH TO INFORM AND ENGAGE HUNDREDS OF PUBLIC HOUSING RESIDENTS ABOUT THE "REPOSITIONING" PLANS OF THE DC HOUSING AUTHORITY, ENGAGING THEM IN ADVOCACY TO SAVE THEIR HOUSING. FORMED A COALITION OF HOUSING ADVOCACY ORGANIZATIONS AND JOINTLY SUBMITTED A SET OF PUBLIC COMMENTS ON THE "REPOSITIONING" PLAN. CONDUCTED TENANT MEETINGS AT BENNING TERRACE. HOSTED MONTHLY MEETINGS OF THE DC GRASSROOTS PLANNING COALITION WITH 50+ ATTENDEES ON TOPICS OF EQUITABLE DEVELOPMENT AND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN. WON INCLUSION OF "EQUITY" LANGUAGE IN THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FRAMEWORK ELEMENT. HOSTED 10 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN STUDY CIRCLES ATTENDED BY 150 PEOPLE. ORGANIZED THE FRIENDS OF CRUMMELL SCHOOL IN IVY CITY AND HELD MULTIPLE EVENTS AND EXTENSIVE OUTREACH FOR CAMPAIGN TO RESTORE CRUMMELL SCHOOL. HOSTED MONTHLY WORKSHOPS FOR THE RACIAL EQUITY COHORT. INTERVIEWED 750 RESIDENTS ON THEIR VIEWS ON RACIAL EQUITY. GAVE INPUT SHAPING PROPOSED LEGISLATION ADDRESSING RACIAL EQUITY.
