Organizations Filed Purposes:
The FERC Daycare Center provides developmentally appropriate child care services in a safe environment for federal government employees and others.
Center mission is to ensure that the Center's programs are consistent with the needs of young children and developmentally appropriate. Educate the parents, explore fundraising opportunities and seek ways to increase faculty compensation while keeping tuition affordable.
Board approved Tuition Assistance for families requesting assistance based on the families financial needs. Tuition Assistance up to 50 percent of Full Tuition is determined on a sliding scale by a Tuition Assistance Committee. Board annually reviews the Tuition Assistance budget and adjusts the amount of tuition grants based on the demand for assistance and availability of funds.
Board approved holiday bonuses and awards for the Daycare providers who are employees of the contractor, Bright Horizons Family Solutions.
Board approved classroom enrichment programs for all Daycare children.
