Organizations Filed Purposes:
The purpose of the Child Development Center is to provide affordable child development,daycare services and meals to eligible children it serves in the southeast section of Washington, DC.
Child Development Services - The Center provides the social, emotional, physical, spiritual and academic needs of children 2 months to 5 years while at the same time enabling individuals (parents and guardians), who primarily come from the surrounding low-income neighborhood where the Center operates, to become and remain gainfully employed.
Food Services - The Center provides meals and snacks for the children it serves at reduced or no cost, as based on the parents income status.
Educare DC and EHS-CCP - EHS-CCP is a community partnership where FRBC CDC partnered with Educare DC to provide more resources to some of our low-income families. Included in that partnership is Family Engagement Services, Teacher Coaching, and Health and Wellness services. The purpose of this project is to see if those additional services will help increase attendance rated and improve overall relationships between families and caregivers.
