The mission of the Franciscan Action Network is to organize civic actors in Franciscan spirituality and the Roman Catholic social teaching tradition, and to promote change in social structure.
Franciscan Action Network has continued its dual mission of advocating and educating for a Franciscan, faith-based approach to governing, laws, and public policy. Our work has focused in four areas human rights, peace, care for Creation, and poverty. We continue to grow in representing Franciscan communities of sisters, friars, and secular Franciscans across the United States.
