THE MISSION OF THE FULBRIGHT ASSOCIATION IS TO ADVOCATE FOR THE FULBRIGHT PROGRAM AND PROMOTE INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION. OUR VISION IS A WORLD WHERE INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE IS WIDELY RECOGNIZED AS A FORCE FOR PEACE.

CHAPTERS - THE FULBRIGHT ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS 50 ACTIVE CHAPTERS THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES ORGANIZED AND OPERATED BY FULBRIGHT ALUMNI VOLUNTEERS. CHAPTERS RECEIVE FUNDS AND GUIDANCE FROM THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION TO PLAN OUTREACH, ENRICHMENT AND MENTORING ACTIVITIES THAT SERVE VISITING FULBRIGHT GRANTEES, FULBRIGHT ALUMNI AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC IN THEIR AREAS.
COMMUNICATIONS - THIS PROGRAM IS PART OF THE ORGANIZATION STRATEGIC PLAN TO EXPAND ITS OUTREACH AND RECOGNITION. THE ASSOCIATION WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE IN DEVELOPING STRATEGIES FOR BRANDING AND MARKETING THE FULBRIGHT PROGRAM BOTH DOMESTICALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS - FULBRIGHTERS ARE EDUCATORS AND TRAVELERS - WITH A MISSION TO MAKE THE WORLD SAFER AND MORE PEACEFUL BY PROMOTING MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING THROUGH STUDY AND FRIENDSHIP. THE ASSOCIATION MAGNIFIES THAT MISSION BY OFFERING INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS INCLUDING THE COHEN LECTURE, SALONS, TRAVEL, AND TEDXFULBRIGHT. THE COHEN LECTURE, PRESENTED DURING THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE, SHOWCASES INNOVATION IN THE STUDY OF DANCE. SALONS ARE OFFERED IN SELECT U.S. CITIES TO CREATE AN INTIMATE ATMOSPHERE FOR EDUCATIONAL DISCUSSIONS ON SUCH TOPICS AS PUBLIC OPINION, MUSIC COMPOSITION, AND FOREIGN POLICY. THE ASSOCIATION'S TRAVEL PROGRAM PLANS AND EXECUTES TRIPS TO IMPORTANT DESTINATIONS. THESE TRIPS ARE INTENSELY EDUCATIONAL, CONNECTING PARTICIPANTS TO LOCAL CULTURE AND OFTEN INCLUDING A SERVICE EXPERIENCE. THE ASSOCIATION HOLDS THE WORLDWIDE LICENSE FOR TEDXFULBRIGHT, A SPEAKER/EDUCATIONAL SERIES FOLLOWING TEDX GUIDELINES WHILE FOCUSING ON THE FULBRIGHT EXPERIENCE AND PERSPECTIVE.
