The Fuller Project is the global nonprofit newsroom dedicated to objective, groundbreaking reporting on women, to raise awareness, expose injustice and spur accountability.
In 2019, The Fuller Project published over 40 articles in a wide range of local and global news outlets about the issues that most affect women. Our investigative journalism helped end harmful practices and contributed to the introduction of new legislation. We supported the launch the first-ever gender desk at the flagship paper of the largest media company in East Africa. Our award-winning reporting covered issues ranging from child marriage and trafficking in Bangladesh, to virginity testing in the US and abroad, to tipped restaurant workers in the U.S.
