IN CAMEROON, OUR LEGAL TEAM BUILT A NETWORK OF 180 JUDGES, ATTORNEYS, TRADITIONAL AUTHORITIES, AND CIVIL ADMINISTRATORS TO ADDRESS GOVERNANCE AND SECURITY CHALLENGES FACING COMMUNITIES MOST IMPACTED BY BOKO HARAM, INCLUDING THROUGH A REVISION OF CAMEROON'S NATIONAL ANTI-TERRORISM LEGISLATION TO ALIGN MORE CLOSELY WITH INTNL. WE PRODUCED THE FIRST EVER GLOBAL ANALYSIS OF NATIONAL STRATEGIES TO PREVENT AND COUNTER VIOLENT EXTREMISM, WHICH WAS SPOTLIGHTED BY THE UN OFFICE OF COUNTER-TERRORISM IN ITS OFFICIAL 2019 ANNUAL REPORT. OUR ANALYSIS WAS REGULARLY FEATURED IN INTERNATIONAL POLICY DISCUSSIONS ON CRITICAL HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH COUNTERTERRORISM EFFORTS.
