Global Digital Health Forum: The Global Digital Health Network held it's annual conference, the Global Digital Health Forum in Dec. 2019. This event brought together over 600 participants from 40 countries for a 3 day event under the theme "Celebrating Innovation and Supporting Proven Practices at Scale". Attendees came from various backgrounds including government stakeholders, technologists, researchers, donors, implementers and field experts. Sessions ranged from lightning talks, panel presentations, hands-on workshops, an interactive "Appy Hour", vendor tables, and poster sessions.
The Global Digital Health Network held 8 monthly meetings in 2019, presenting in person and online events reaching over 100 attendees per session. The events were recorded and made available on the http://globaldigitalhealthnetwork.org for those to view who could not attend the sessions in real time. Topics covered Topics covered included 5G and Cybersecurity, Evaluation Techniques using the Principles for Digital Development and Strengthening Health Information Systems Leadership. In person events were held in Washington, DC, Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Seattle, Washington.
