THE DATABASES ARE RELATED TO THE ILSI RESEARCH FOUNDATION'S WORK ON BIOSAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL RISK ASSESSMENT, FOOD SAFETY AND NUTRITION. THE ILSI RESEARCH FOUNDATION HAS DEVELOPED ELEARNING COURSES TO DELIVER TRAINING IN AN ACCESSIBLE, INTERACTIVE FORMAT. THIS OPEN RESOURCE IS AVAILABLE TO REGULATORY AGENCIES, THE PRIVATE SECTOR, AND ACADEMICS. AIMED AT SUPPORTING OUR CAPACITY BUILDING AND TRAINING EFFORTS, THEY ARE OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE.
NUTRITION: THE ILSI RESEARCH FOUNDATION IS UNDERTAKING RESEARCH THAT SEEKS TO ENHANCE THE PRODUCTIVITY, RESILIENCE, AND SUSTAINABILITY OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLE SUPPLY CHAINS BY USING INTEGRATED (CROP, ECONOMIC, AND ENVIRONMENTAL) MODELING TO IDENTIFY AND TEST ADAPTATION AND MITIGATION STRATEGIES FOR THESE SYSTEMS. THE ILSI RESEARCH FOUNDATION IS ALSO COMMITTED TO IMPROVING NUTRITION AND HEALTH THROUGH CROSS-DISCIPLINARY RESEARCH, WITH A PARTICULAR FOCUS ON IMPROVING THE ACCESSIBILITY OF FOOD COMPOSITION AND DIETARY INTAKE DATA, OPEN DATA AND METHODS HARMONIZATION.
