Inseparable Action, Inc. works to develop communications & educational outreach; advance mental health care policy at the state & federal levels; and increase mental health activism by building grassroot support through direct engagement and constituency organizingCommunications: Inseparable Action, Inc. is engaged in constant communications, through digital and traditional media to advance the understanding of the mental health crisis in America. Advocacy messaging: Inseparable Action, Inc. is driving a robust federal advocacy agenda identify and promote key legislative priorities for congress and state governments. During this period, we signed on in support of the Jim Ramstad Model State Parity Legislation; mapped the federal administrative opportunities and core administrative policies that prioritize mental health. Grassroots & activation: Inseparable Action, Inc. promoted and strengthened state parity enforcement. Inseparable Action, Inc. supported state parity reform efforts in California and Illinois, and worked directly with the office of the Washington state Insurance Commissioner. Inseparable Action, Inc. has been building a cohesive and powerful movement for change. During this grant period, we've driven thousands of calls of support for mental health reform. Inseparable Action, Inc. is securing investment for proven prevention programs to foster resilience and assist children in overcoming traumatic experiences so that they can pursue hopeful futures. Evidence-based prevention and early intervention programs can increase vital help-seeking behavior, especially for youth and other vulnerable populations. Even further upstream, resilience-building programs can help youth build the coping skills they need for better mental health outcomes throughout their lives.
