This involves monitoring of meetings, conferences, making statements, etc., and keeping contacts with government delegations to the United Nations.The Organization also provides and early warning service for trade union affiliaties worldwide and serves as a contact point for the coordination of trade union relations with The International Monetary Fund (IMF), The World Bank, The Inter-American Development Bank, and othe international organizations based in Washington, DC. It provides the Organization and its affiliates with up to date information and procedures of the aforementioned organizations which are of interest to the labor movement.
