THE FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO ERADICATING CHILD LABOR AND CHILD EXPLOITATION BY EDUCATING AND MOBILIZING THE PUBLIC, ENGAGING THE PRIVATE SECTOR TO PRIORITIZE CHILDREN IN THEIR BUSINESS MODELS, BUILDING CAPACITY OF PARTNERS ON THE GROUND AND ADVOCATING FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN IN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL POLICIES.2014 NOBEL PEACE PRIZE LAUREATE KAILASH SATYARTHI'S ALMOST 4 DECADES OF EXPERIENCE AND PROVEN TRACK RECORD-RESCUING AND REHABILITATING CHILD LABORERS TO PRIORITIZING CHILDREN IN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL POLICY TO BUILDING PUBLIC AND CORPORATE AWARENESS-UNIQUELY POSITIONS HIM TO EXPAND AND BUILD UPON HIS PREVIOUS WORK GLOBALLY THROUGH THE FOUNDATION.WE BELIEVE THAT ALL CHILDREN MUST LIVE FREELY WITH DIGNITY AND HAVE THE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO BE SAFE, HEALTHY AND EDUCATED IN ORDER TO REALIZE THEIR POTENTIAL. IN ORDER TO MAKE THIS A REALITY, THE FOUNDATION FOCUSES ON POLICY, PROGRAMS AND PEOPLE.CENTRAL TO OUR WORK IS PARTNERSHIP, BUILDING TRUST AND COLLABORATION BETWEEN AND AMONG KEY STAKEHOLDERS. THE FOUNDATION BRINGS TOGETHER GOVERNMENTS, THE PRIVATE SECTOR AND CIVIL SOCIETY (INCLUDING YOUTH) TO CREATE A SOLID ALLIANCE OF INDIVIDUALS, ORGANIZATIONS, BUSINESSES AND NATIONS, STANDING TOGETHER UNTIL NO CHILD ANYWHERE IS DEPRIVED OF THEIR FREEDOM. IN 2019, THROUGH THE LAUREATES AND LEADERS FOR CHILDREN INITIATIVE, THIS PARTNERSHIP APPROACH WAS MOST NOTABLY EXECUTED BY BRINGING TOGETHER MORE THAN 70 NOBEL LAUREATES AND LEADERS TO ADVOCATE FOR THE SECESSION OF HOSTILITIES BETWEEN INDIA AND PAKISTAN ON BEHALF OF THE CHILDREN OF THOSE RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES.THE FOUNDATION EDUCATES AND ENGAGES THE U.S. PUBLIC ON THE ISSUES OF CHILD LABOR, CHILD SLAVERY AND CHILD TRAFFICKING BY INVITING U.S. CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN COLLECTIVE ACTIONS THROUGH WHICH A BROADER GRASSROOTS AUDIENCE CAN BE MOBILIZED TO TAKE ACTION. THE DOCUMENTARY, THE PRICE OF FREE, DEPICTING KAILASH SATYARTHI'S WORK WAS SCREENED IN SCHOOLS, LIBRARIES, AND THROUGH CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS, ASKING VIEWERS TO TAKE ACTION AND ASK US RETAILERS IF THEIR PRODUCTS WERE MADE BY CHILD LABOR.SPECIFICALLY, THE FOUNDATION FOCUSES ON ENGAGING CHILDREN AND YOUTH TO BECOME GLOBAL CITIZENS THAT HAVE A SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE RIGHT OF ALL CHILDREN TO BE FREE, SAFE, HEALTHY, AND EDUCATED. IN 2019, THE 100 MILLION CAMPAIGN HAD ORGANIZING COMMITTEES IN 35 COUNTRIES AND HELD HUNDREDS OF EVENTS IN THE US AND ACROSS THE WORLD TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN. IN ADDITION, KSCF US' EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR WAS INVITED TO SPEAK AT AN EVENT ON THE SIDELINES OF THE COPENHAGEN SUSTAIN FASHION SUMMIT.
