KELEF mission is to provide a wide range of community services and educational financial assistance to the youth of Prince Georges County
The KELEF provided four college bound students scholarships based on academic performance and held annual College Fair with 3,100 students and over 75 colleges and over 75 Colleges and Universities in attendance.
Sponsor four high schools students with vital leaderships skills workshops at Alpha Phi Alpha Leadership Development Institute LDI.
Provided Mentoring for sixty two young adults between the ages of 12 and 17, and held a series of workshops and information sessions with over fifty attendees that provided eductation, motivation and skill-building issues of reponsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases for young males ages 12- 18 years old.
