The mission of La Salle International Foundation is to provide support for educational, health, and human services, as well as humanitarian relief to peoples in countries around the world without discriminating on the basis of race, religion, gender, nationality, or sexual orientation.
La Salle International Foundation awarded 34 educational grants to promote educational opportunities These grants increased access, affordability, and/or academic quality at numerous educational ventures from pre-school to university level, including non-formal and technical education. Grants covered funding for various purposes, including but not limited to commodities, construction, female access programs, programs for physically and mentally challenged children, special needs children, and educationally-excluded minorities.
La Salle International Foundation awarded ten grants in health and human services as well as emergency humanitarian relief. Among other grants, these awards provided food supplies for hurricane victims, health resources for women, disaster relief re-construction, and residential costs for HIV+ youth. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, emergency relief grants were made to selected educational institutions for the acquisition of personal protective equipment and to address food insufficiency among affected families.
