ADVANCE THE CAREERS OF HIGH-POTENTIAL WOMEN THROUGH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS.

FELLOWS PROGRAM:NOW IN ITS 26TH YEAR, THE FELLOWS PROGRAM WAS LAUNCHED IN 1994 WITH SEED-FUNDING FROM THE U.S. LABOR DEPARTMENT AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE GLASS CEILING COMMISSION. THE PROGRAM ANNUALLY CONVENES APPROXIMATELY 35 FELLOWS FROM AROUND THE WORLD FOR A TOTAL OF 20 DAYS, OFFERING CUSTOMIZED LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR FEMALE EXECUTIVES ON THEIR PATH TO THE C-SUITE. THE APPROACH IS HOLISTIC AND FOCUSED ON THE PARTICIPANT'S PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, CAREER PATH, AND TRAJECTORY, WHILE EMBRACING THE VALUE OF AN OUTSIDE PERSPECTIVE.

CONFERENCES - THE LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH IWF TO DELIVER THE HALL OF FAME AWARDS GALA AS PART OF THE IWF WORLD LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE, A PUBLIC-FACING EVENT. THE AWARD RECIPIENT(S) ARE WOMEN LEADERS TACKLING URGENT ISSUES FACING THE WORLD, WHOSE CONTRIBUTIONS TO SOCIETY ARE OUTSIZED ON A GLOBAL SCALE. RECENT AWARDEES INCLUDE: ELLEN JOHNSON SIRLEAF, HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON, AND ALICE WALTON.

THE WOMEN ATHLETES BUSINESS NETWORK (WABN) PROGRAM, ESTABLISHED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ERNST & YOUNG (EY) IN 2015, IS DESIGNED TO HELP EXCEPTIONAL FEMALE ATHLETES WITH PROVEN LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE TO FURTHER REFINE, DEVELOP, AND GROW THEIR LEADERSHIP CAPACITY. EACH YEAR, THE FOUNDATION COMPETITIVELY SELECTS AND PAIRS UP TO 25 ELITE FEMALE ATHLETES WITH IWF LEADERS AND MENTORS FOR A HIGH-TOUCH MENTORING AND TRAINING EXPERIENCE. THE TRAINING COMPONENTS OF WABN INCLUDE: AN ON-CAMPUS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM AT NIKE, THE DEEDEE CORRADINI LEADERSHIP ROUNDTABLE PROGRAM, AND PARTICIPATION IN IWF'S INVITATION-ONLY WORLD LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE. EACH EXPERIENCE IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE A SPACE FOR MENTEES TO DEEPEN THEIR PROFESSIONAL GROWTH THROUGH EXPERT-LED WORKSHOPS AS WELL AS CANDID DISCUSSIONS WITH RENOWNED LEADERS, SPORTS FIGURES, AND THEIR PEERS.SINCE 2015, OVER 120 WOMEN ATHLETES, INCLUDING 63 OLYMPIANS AND PARALYMPIANS ACROSS 25 COUNTRIES AND 43 SPORTS, HAVE BENEFITTED FROM THE WABN PROGRAM.
