Organizations Filed Purposes: NARAL PRO-CHOICE AMERICA'S MISSION IS TO DEVELOP AND SUSTAIN A CONSTITUENCY THAT USES THE POLITICAL PROCESS TO GUARANTEE EVERY WOMAN THE RIGHT TO MAKE PERSONAL DECISIONS REGARDING THE FULL RANGE OF REPRODUCTIVE CHOICES, INCLUDING PREVENTING UNINTENDED PREGNANCY, BEARING HEALTHY CHILDREN, AND CHOOSING LEGAL ABORTION.

PROMOTION OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ON MATTERS RELATED TO REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS.

ADVOCACY AND ORGANIZING - NARALs political representative with other organizations, our activists, as well as campaigns at both state and federal levels. We work to run campaigns that ensure more pro-choice candidates are elected to offices and demonstrate that running on pro-choice values is a winning strategy. We analyze campaigns and legislative opportunities that further the mission of the organization. We provide support and services to affiliates because we know the power of organizing from the community level up to build power; we keep people energized and engaged, and build toward long-term, broader changes all across the country.

POLICY - The policy department lobbies Congress and the executive branch, and conducts general advocacy on issues concerning reproductive rights. The department tracks and analyzes policy at both the federal and state levels of government, and provides strategies to address bills that affect reproductive freedom.

COMMUNICATIONS - Monitors and tracks media, and provides responses to any new information that may affect our mission. Provides press releases to the public and any additional information to benefit endorsed pro-choice candidates. Assists in organizing programs associated with campaigns and legislative opportunities that further the mission of the organization.
