Organizations Filed Purposes: AS THE LARGEST ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS, NAIS CO-CREATES THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION BY UNITING AND EMPOWERING OUR COMMUNITY. WE DO THIS THROUGH THOUGHT LEADERSHIP, RESEARCH, CREATION AND CURATION OF RESOURCES, AND DIRECT COLLABORATION WITH EDUCATION LEADERS.

INFORMATION, DATA AND RESOURCES: WE COLLECT STATISTICS, CONDUCT RESEARCH, AND SYNTHESIZE THIS INFORMATION INTO TREND REPORTS, TOOLS, RESOURCES, AND PUBLICATIONS TO HELP SCHOOL LEADERS MEET THE CHALLENGES OF EDUCATING STUDENTS IN THE 21ST CENTURY. PROGRAMS THAT SUPPORT THIS INCLUDE PUBLIC POLICY RESEARCH AND INFORMATION, THE NAIS WEBSITE, E-COMMUNITIES, POPULATION DEMOGRAPHICS DATA SERVICE, AND SURVEY TOOLS FOR SCHOOLS. REVENUES INCLUDE TOTAL MEMBER DUES, BOOK AND MAGAZINE ADS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS AND SALES OF TOOLS AND ANALYSIS SERVICES.

EQUITY, JUSTICE AND ACCESSIBILITY PROGRAMS: THESE PROGRAMS HELP SCHOOLS EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND PROVIDE TOOLS & RESOURCES TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE SERVING STUDENTS FROM ALL SEGMENTS OF THEIR COMMUNITIES. OVER 8,000 SCHOOL LEADERS AND STUDENTS ATTENDED OUR JOINT PEOPLE OF COLOR CONFERENCE AND STUDENT DIVERSITY AND LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE THIS YEAR.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: THIS IS A SERIES OF TRAINING PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO DEVELOP AND SUPPORT SCHOOL LEADERS. IT INCLUDES OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE, THE LARGEST GATHERING OF INDEPENDENT SCHOOL LEADERS IN THE INDUSTRY, VARIOUS SUMMER LEADERSHIP INSTITUTES, TRAINING FOR SCHOOL TRUSTEES, AND NEW SCHOOL HEADS. OVER 5,500 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN THESE PROGRAMS THIS YEAR.
