Natura International is committed to the conservation of natural ecosystems and endangered species through the creation of protected areas in collaboration with local governments and communities. In this way, we hope to conserve our natural and cultural heritage for future generations.
Conservation programs in Argentina to support the creation of new protected areas, including the wetlands and lake of Mar Chiquita, Cordoba; Andean ecosystems at the Sierra de Famatina in La Rioja; Uspallata in Mendoza; Andean and chaco ecosystems in Salta; and related social, educational and scientific programs.
Natura International seeks to identify other major conservation opportunities in key Latin American ecosystems and assist in building the capacity of local conservation organizations to achieve on-the-ground results in areas declared and species saved.
