THE COUNCIL EXCHANGES DATA AND INFORMATION RELATIVE TO AIRPORT DESIGN, FINANCING, CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION. IT ENCOURAGES AND PROMOTES POLICIES THAT WILL BEST SERVE THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF AIR TRANSPORTATION.
AS THE VOICE OF AIRPORTS, IT IS ACI-NA'S MISSION TO ADVOCATE POLICIES AND PROVIDE SERVICES THAT STRENGTHEN COMMERCIAL AIRPORTS' ABILITY TO SERVE THEIR PASSENGERS, CUSTOMERS AND COMMUNITIES. WE WORK HARD TO:-PROMOTE COOPERATION WITH ALL ELEMENTS OF THE COMMERCIAL CIVIL AVIATION INDUSTRY;-ENCOURAGE THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS, INFORMATION AND EXPERIENCES ON COMMON AIRPORT ISSUES;-IDENTIFY, INTERPRET AND DISSEMINATE INFORMATION TO OUR MEMBERS ON CURRENT INDUSTRY TRENDS AND PRACTICES; AND-CREATE FORUMS OF COMMON INTEREST, BUILD PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS AND INTERPRET KEY AIRPORT POLICY AND BUSINESS ISSUES TO OUR MEMBERS.
CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS - CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS ARE HELD TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION AND PROVIDE A FORUM FOR DISCUSSION OF ISSUES OF INTEREST TO MEMBERS. WITH ITS CONFERENCES AND WEBINARS, ACI-NA PROVIDES AIRPORT AND AVIATION PROFESSIONALS WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO ADVANCE THEIR CAREERS AND KEEP UP WITH INDUSTRY ISSUES AND TRENDS.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION - CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION HELD TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION AND PROVIDE A FORUM FOR DISCUSSION OF ISSUES OF INTEREST TO MEMBERS.
GOVERNMENT AND LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS - RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ACI-NA POLICIES AND PROGRAMS RELATED TO FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS, LEGISLATION, AND REGULATIONS AFFECTING AIRPORT OPERATORS. REPRESENT AND ADVOCATE THE INTERESTS OF U.S. AIRPORTS BEFORE CONGRESS AND THE ADMINISTRATION, PARTICULARLY THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION.
