PROMOTE OUTDOOR ADVERTISING INDUSTRY
Within the mission of the OAAA to protect the viability of the outdoor advertising industry in the government arena, OAAA in 2017: -Fulfilled more than 400 requests for legislative/regulatory information and research from OAAA members, public officials and the press - Provided public service programs and space for local Crimestoppers organizations and the FBI to place images of wanted fugitives on outdoor advertising displays. - Provided gratis public service programs and space for numerous charitable organizations including The Ad Council, The Boys and Girls Clubs, National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, National Geographic Society, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and The Red Cross.
Within the mission of the OAAA to build out of home advertising market share and improve the industry sales and marketing capabilities, OAAA in 2017: - Produced and presented the OBIE Awards to reward excellence in out of home advertising design. - Produced and presented the Out of Home Media Plan Awards to reward excellence in out of home media planning - Produced and presented the OAAA/Geopath National Convention + Expo - Fulfilled over 500 marketing research requests from OAAA members, advertisers, and financial analysts - Commissioned marketing research studies including OOH and Online Activation Study, ROI Benchmarketing Study
