Pay Our Interns POI seeks to ensure individuals from all backgrounds are represented across industries impacting their communities, and to develop pathways for advancement. In doing so, POI creates a more equitable workforce, more diverse leadership across sectors, and a more just world.
Pay Our Interns fights to ensure students of all backgrounds have equitable access to professional career paths through theimplementation of paid internships countrywide through research, education and outreach.
Congressional Initiative provides support and tools for Congressional offices on how to operationalize equitable paid internship programs so that the funds can be used for their intended purpose of opening up opportunities for all. This includes our paid internship guide and offering workshops for intern coordinators.
Reflect Us is a public engagement campaign targeting students of color and those from economically disadvantaged communities. This campaign, which combines social media with college campus outreach, was designed to make both students and career centers aware of the Congressional funding opportunity for the summer of 2019.
Pay Our Interns fights to ensure all students especially Black, Latino/a, and Native American students have equitable access to professional career paths through the implementation of paid internships countrywide. We do so through research, educating employers and students, and sharing the stories of marginalized youth.
