Provide fair and equitable opportunities for community residents and organizations to create non-commercial television programs and telecast them on cable channels, free of censorship editorial control. Provide media education. Create and telecast community programming.
Community Engagement Education & Programming: DCTV participants received a total of 17625 hours of instruction in education courses valued at $594,970. Additionally, more than 2,904 hours of DCTV facilities and equipment were used, valued at $256,800 to produce community focused programs by DCTV members.
