RILA PROMOTES THE INTERESTS OF RETAILERS AT ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT. THE GOVERNMENT RELATIONS STAFF AT RILA, TOGETHER WITH RETAIL AND SUPPLIER MEMBERS, IDENTIFY KEY ISSUES THAT IMPACT BUSINESS AND WORK TO ENSURE THAT PUBLIC POLICY, AT BOTH THE FEDERAL AND STATE LEVEL, FOSTER A SUCCESSFUL AND PROFITABLE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT.
THE ASSOCIATION OFFERS LEADERS COUNCILS AND SPECIALTY COMMITTEES THAT ADDRESS SPECIFIC, CRITICAL DISCIPLINES IN THE INDUSTRY. THESE COUNCILS AND COMMITTEES SERVE AS A UNIQUE FORUM FOR MEMBERS TO DISCUSS THE LATEST INNOVATION IN THE RETAIL INDUSTRY AND TO WORK TOGETHER TO IMPROVE THEIR BUSINESSES AS WELL AS THE INDUSTRY AS A WHOLE.
