To educate the public about the impact of militarization in the Americas
Collaborated with volunteers and allies throughout the Americas to organize and carry out a series of virtual events - concert, vigil, workshops - to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the organization. These events provided meaningful space to reflect on institutional memory as well as educate about the historic and current human rights and environmental impacts of militarization throughout the Americas.
Researched and produced publications with both information and analysis regarding the human rights impact of US training and funding of military, police, and other state forces in the Americas. This included the writing and publication of the report From the Beginning to the End: The United States in the Colombian Armed Conflict to Colombias Truth Commission.
Organized and facilitated virtual trainings, panels, webinars, and a reading group to educate the public about the impacts of US policies and practices on human rights and environmental injustices throughout the Americas.
