Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Silver Institute's purpose is that of promoting the welfare of the silver industry by increasing the knowledge of and demand for silver products across all end users. The Silver Institute had 23 members as of year end 2020.
The Silver Institute's General Programs provide a variety of services benefiting the industry including: increasing awareness and education about silver through the Silver Institute's web site, press releases and newsletters that highlight trends in the silver marketplace. We also retain a technical director to monitor and report on global technical developments that affect silver consumption.
The Silver Institutes Silver Promotion Service program is the jewelry promotion arm and is designed to stimulate demand for and enhance the image of silver jewelry in the domestic and major international markets. Created in 2008, this multi-tiered program, which consists of research, business and consumer messaging, retail outreach, and international outreach, partners with silver jewelry designers and brands to offer the Savor Silver program, which offers participants a range of benefits, including editorial opportunities, and various public relations opportunities, among others.
The Silver Institute releases the annual World Silver Survey, to bring timely and reliable silver supply and demand statistics and market analysis to market participants and the general public. World Silver Survey is read by the breadth of the silver industry, as well as the media covering silver and the financial markets, investors, and the general public. It is widely referenced and is the most quoted report on the silver market.
