The mission of Stonecrest Home Arts Inc., is to provide services through classes and seminars on various homemaking skills, as well as professional, social ethics, and other matters of educational and cultural interest.
During 2019, Stonecrest Home Arts, Inc. conducted classes and seminars. Junior high and high school students participated in classes and seminars where they learned through lectures, classes, and hands-on experience, skills related to managing a home skillfully and with artistry. Areas of focus in 2019 included kitchen, laundry, sewing, decoration, and home health. As in previous years, a group of high school and college students accompanied by their mentor/coaches, attended an international homemaking competition showcasing skills they had learned and developed over the course of the year. High school students developed life skills in real-world work situations through participation in Home Arts internships, with paid jobs, working regularly under the direct supervision of professionals, especially in the areas of kitchen and dinning room services. Other classes and seminars encouraging commitment to service in all aspects of life - family, friends, and community - were held throughout the year.
