THIS PROGRAM FOCUSES ON THE OUTREACH, EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED TO HELP ENSURE THAT THE WOMEN OWNED BUSINESS OWNERS WHO PARTICIPATE HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE AND THE NETWORKS THEY NEED TO START TO COMPETE FOR LARGER BUSINESS OPPURTUNITIES.
WEConnect Academy: The WEConnect Academy provides online businesstraining to WEConnect International's global network of women-ownedbusinesses. Each of the modules offered is for women business ownerswhose businesses are self-registered or certified in the eNetwork.
Leveraging Digital Technology to Connect Women Business Owners to Markets for Inclusive Trade and Sustainable Economic Impact:WEConnect INTERNATIONAL IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SEVERAL GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT (GDA) PARTNERS, WORKED WITH THE US AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT (USAID) TO LEVERAGE TECHNOLOGY TO HELP REALIZE THE COMMITMENT OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR TO INCREASE CORPORATE SPEND WITH WOMEN-OWNED BUISNESSES AROUND THE WORLD AND ESPECIALLY IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. THIS PARTNERSHIP AIMS TO EXPAND MARKET OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESSES BY IMPLEMENTING A MULTIFUNCTIONAL PLATFORM TO ALLOW BUYERS AND SELLERS TO SEARCH FOR AND CONNECT WITH EACH OTHER.
