WildlifeDirect makes grants to WildlifeDirect Kenya to pursue the following accomplishments: The flagship campaign "Hands off Our Elephants" focuses on stopping elephant poaching, extinguishing the demand for ivory, and supporting judicial reform for wildlife. This four pronged approach has resulted in: 1) Increased public awareness and understanding of elephant poaching and the illegal ivory trade. 2) Connecting people to their wildlife and nature and inspiring them to value and act to conserve it. 3) Supporting the strengthening of laws and sentencing related to wildlife crime. 4) Developing TV programs that educate Kenyans on wildlife, which reaches 5 million viewers per week.
