WE BELIEVE THAT BY DEMOCRATIZING U.S. FOREIGN POLICY AND PROVIDING PROGRESSIVE ALTERNATIVES, WE CAN ACHIEVE MORE PEACEFUL, JUST, AND COMMON SENSE POLICIES THAT ENSURE THAT ALL PEOPLE REGARDLESS OF RACE, NATIONALITY, GENDER, RELIGION, OR ECONOMIC STATUS CAN FIND AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OPPORTUNITY EQUALLY AND FEEL SECURE.
WIN WITHOUT WAR EDUCATION FUND'S PURPOSE IS TO ENGAGE IN EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND POLICY ANALYSIS CONCERNING THE ATTAINMENT OF PROGRESS TOWARD A BETTER, MORE JUST AND MORE PEACEFUL WORLD THROUGH A LESS MILITARIZED FOREIGN POLICY FOR THE UNITED STATES. THE ORGANIZATION IS AN OUTGROWTH OF A LONGSTANDING PROGRAM OF THE CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL POLICY ('CIP"). THE PROGRAM WAS ORIGINALLY CREATED AS A VEHICLE FOR OPPOSITION TO THE WAR IN IRAQ AND HAS ENGAGED IN PUBLIC EDUCATION ACTIVITIES FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS.
PUBLIC EDUCATION AND POLICY RESEARCH ON FOREIGN POLICY AND NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUES. SPECIFICALLY IDENTIFYING PRINCIPLES OF A PROGRESSIVE FOREIGN POLICY AND PROVIDING ANALYSIS OF CURRENT EVENTS.
