Organizations Filed Purposes:
To cultivate the next generation of thought leaders for liberty in policy, journalism, and academia.
Contributor Program: Young Voices' premier project provides pro bono op-ed editing, pitching, and broadcast interview placement services to talented writers ages 18-35 knowledgeable in the classical liberal tradition. Our fiscal year 2020 was the most successful to date for the program, successfully placing 454 articles and 229 broadcast interview hits (e.g. radio, TV, podcast, etc.) in noted outlets including Fox News, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal.
Policy Fellowships: Young Voices offers an opportunity for select writers in our program to take a deep-dive on specific policy issue areas. This year, we successfully completed four such policy fellowships on the issue areas of technology, foreign policy, education, and consumer freedom. 12 fellows were paired up with think tank mentors with the expectation of producing tailored media hits (i.e. op-eds, TV, radio, podcasts) communicating the importance of preserving free markets and individual rights.
