Organizations Filed Purposes:
The organization's mission is to build character and support the pursuit of academic excellence enabling youth in the DC-MD-VA area to enhance the trajectory of their lives.
Our signature Program for Academic & Leadership Skills [PALS] for young women and trains young professionals and college-aged women to build character and mentor 3rd-12th graders throughout the school-year and summer. This program served 56 young women during the summer and 64 during the school year.
The Johnny and Mary Clare Holliday Scholarship fund provides scholarship opportunities for the merit-worthy students of theYouth Leadership Foundation. Each year, 20% of the proceeds from Johnny Holliday Scholarship Classic goes to families that need support, earmarked for Catholic school partners of the Youth Leadership Foundation. Each and every recipient of scholarships awarded through the fund receive a strong Catholic education and mentorship through YLF's programs for boys and girls. Eight scholarships were awarded in FY20.
